Notice of Intent to Sole Source: School of Mortgage Banking (SOMB) Training Courses and Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) Specialist Designation Services

This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201(b) and 5.203(a), and in accordance with 41 U.S.C. § 1901(e)(2), FAR 13.501(a), Sole Source Justification Using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for Certain Commercial Items, this notice serves as the Federal Housing Finance Agency's (FHFA's) notice of intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) (1919 M Street, NW, 5th Floor, Washington, D.C., 20036-3572) for the continued acquisition of SOMB training courses and AMP Specialist designation services. This notice is neither a solicitation nor request for quotations. This notice is a market research tool used to determine the availability of other qualified sources that can provide the needed courses and services detailed in the attached document. Please review the attached document for further details. The Government will not pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responses to this notice.
