The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a noncompetitive award to NOVA 4, LLC, d/b/a New Horizons Computer Lrng, 4001 S. Virginia St Ste D-2, Reno, NV 89502, a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), for Computer Training for the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno NV 89502. This procurement is a sole source award under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a single source. Sole source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Firms believing they can provide these services must provide written notification to the Contract Specialist with supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the contractor's ability to meet the stated requirements. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. All responses to this notice are solely within the discretion of the Government. Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish all instructors, personnel, equipment, supplies, materials, facilities and resources necessary to provide instructor led certified courseware for basic computer, business, and work productivity programs. Computer classes include various levels for: Windows 7, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Job development classes include business writing and problem solving skills training. Programs are designed to enhance and assist participants with job development and placement for compensated work therapy. The contractor's facility must be located within an approximate three mile radius of the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System located at 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno, NV 89502, and have accessibility to public transportation to accommodate participants located within the surrounding area.
