Grease Trap/Interceptor Drain Preventive Maintenance Service Pre-solicitation Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 22 intends to procure commercial item services under (FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items for Certain Commercial Items) for Grease Trap/Interceptor Drain Preventative Maintenance for the participating Southern California VA Healthcare Facilities: VA San Diego Healthcare System, 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161 and VA Aspire Center, 2121 San Diego Ave, San Diego, CA 92110. The contractor is required to provide Fixture Drains/Grease Interceptors, Grease Trap Service and Drain Maintenance in various areas of both facilities on a scheduled and as needed basis. The intended contract is a Firm-Fixed Price service contract for a base year with the Government's right to extend the contract in one-year increments for a possibility of up to four option years. This is a Total Small Business Set Aside solicitation. The solicitation will be available for issue on or about June 26, 2014 with offers due on or about June 10, 2014. A Site visit is schedule on July 2nd, 2014 at the VA San Diego Healthcare System and the Aspire Center. The solicitation packets will be made available through the FedBizOpps website at www.fbos.gov.
