Pickup, removal and disposal of RCRA, non-RCRA, CGCs, PCBs and other hazardous waste

This solicitation is for the removal of hazardous waste and hazardous material from DRMO - Groton and surrounding locations. Services will consist of the pick-up, removal and disposal of assorted RCRA, non-RCRA, non-state regulated waste, management service such as tank cleaning and lab packing. The resulting contract will be a single, performance-based, firm-fixed price, IDIQ contract. The NAICS Code is 562211. The contract will be for an 18-month base period and two 18-month option periods. This action will be a competitive 8(a) small business set-aside. Performance will be directed by the issuance of individual written delivery orders against the contract. The solicitation is estimated to be issued o/a 23 September 2009, with a closing 23 October 2009. Qualification: Prospective contractors must possess a demonstrated ability to perform the required types and volume of services in accordance with all Federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations governing environmental protection and the transportation and disposal of hazardous waste and hazardous materials. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION, prior to contract award the awardees must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Register.
