Description
FISC Norfolk Det. Philadelphia intends to solicit on an unrestricted basis on a commercial items acquisition effort as outlined under FAR part 12 and FAR part 13.5 for transcription services using Government Provided Dictaphone I Chart technology in support of the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD. The estimated monthly transcription volume of medical transcription is approximately 333,000 lines for an annual estimate of 3.9 million lines of transcription per year. Contractor will be responsible for the timely processing of several types of medical reports, which include but not necessarily limited to In-patient operative note, APV reports, Medical Boards, TDRL cases, D/S and P/N. Timelines for the submission of the completed report will vary. A firm fixed price IDIQ commercial items contract is the expected result from this acquisition effort. The NACIS code for this effort is 561410. The estimated start date for this requirement is 15 Feb 06 with a performance period thru 30 Sept 05, subject requirement will also allow for up to four one year option periods.
