Z -- Fire Training Maintenance and Servicing of Aircraft Fire Training Facility (4 option years)

This project consists of the maintenance and servicing, spring start-up and winterization of the Aircraft Fire Training Facility on Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. This contract will consist of one basic year with four option years. A Firm Fixed Price contract with a base and four one-year options is anticipated. The NAICS Code is 561210 and the size standard is $30M. The FSC Code is 8744. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 4 Oct 2005 on the FedBizOps posting system. It is anticipated that a site visit will be held on or about 12 Oct 2005. The name, date of birth, social security number, and drivers license number will be required to be submitted for individuals planning on attending the site visit no later than COB 7 Oct 2005. No paper copies of this solicitation will be available. This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS concern in accordance with (IAW) the FAR Clause at 52.219-6, “Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside (Jun 03)”applies. Award will be based upon best value to the government considering price and price related factors. All contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to any contract award.
