The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) proposes to increase the level of effort being provided under Contract No. PBGC01-CT-02-0620 with Disciplined Benefit Services, Inc. Under the contract, DBS is performing professional pension benefit administration support at PBGC’s Pueblo, Colorado, field office. An increase of 24,050 hours to the existing performance period, as well as an additional 59,500 and 72,100 hours in the remaining two option periods, is necessary to offset an unforeseen increase in the number of pension plans assumed by the PBGC. In view of the DBS familiarity with the complexities of pension administration and their knowledge of ERISA as well as PBGC policies and procedures, DBS is uniquely qualified to perform these additional services in a timely manner.
