R--System Validation Consultant for VA Palo Alto Health Care System

The VA Northern California Health Care System has a requirement for a System Validation Consultant to provide FDA compliance and assessment validation assistance for clinical applications for a custom Electronic Data Collection system. The Palo Alto Cooperative Studies Program Coordinating Center (CSPCC) is launching two clinical studies that will use a new software system for electronic data collection, data management and communication with the research sites. The contractor shall provide all personnel, management, materials, equipment, transportation, and resources necessary to perform System Validation Consulting for VA Palo Alto Health Care System, 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The NAICS code is 541519 and the small business size standard is $25.0 million. Solicitation VA-261-10-RP-0335 will be issued on or about August 11, 2010. The Government will use a best value source selection in accordance with FAR 13.106-2 and intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of this solicitation.
