CAMWorks Software and Training

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to TriMech Solutions, LLC, upon the basis of the authority provided at FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). ERDC-CRREL intends to procure the following onsite training and software licenses: - One (1) CAMWorks Milling Professional Version: 3 Axis Milling w/Undercutting, 4/5 Axis Indexing, 2.5 Axis VoluMill, Rotary Milling, Turning, Sub-spindle, Mill-turn & Cimco Editor/DNC - Part Number cw-prom-bndl - One (1) CAMWorks Milling Professional Bundle Subscription - Initial - 1 Year - Part Number CW-PROM-BNDL-S UB-INITIAL - One (1) CAMWorks Turning Professional: 2.5 Axis Milling Premium, 4/5 Axis Indexing, 2.5 Axis VoluMill, Rotary Milling, Turning, Mill-turn, Sub-spindle, Synchronous Machining, Virtual Machine Standard & Cimco Editor/DNC - Part Number cw-prot-bndl - One (1) CAMWorks Turning Professional Subscription - Initial - 1 - Part Number cw-prot-bndl-sub-initial - Custom Onsite training for CAMWorks Premium Training Package for three (3) students / five (5) days as follows: a) SW CAM Essentials (2 days) b) CAMWorks 3-Axis (2 days) c) CAMWorks Turning (1 day) d) All training materials included The CAMWorks software has been validated to be fully interoperable with CRREL's existing CAMWorks and SolidWorks software used in on-going research projects. TriMech Solutions, LLC was identified as the only source capable of fulfilling the Government's requirement for CAMWorks software and onsite training in its entirety. TriMech Solutions is working in conjunction with a local contractor who supplies the lab's existing SolidWorks software package. This collaboration ensures onsite training and support through the associated license subscriptions will be better coordinated and technical issues addressed more efficiently. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541512, which has a size standard of $30 million. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Any interested party that believes they can fulfill this requirement should submit a capability statement to be reviewed. All submissions will be considered, however there is no guarantee that submissions in response to this notice will in any way alter the Government's acquisition strategy. Responses to this notice shall be submitted NLT 12:00 PM CST, 9 SEPTEMBER 2019 to [email protected] Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses to this notice will not be considered as a response to any solicitation, a request to be added to a prospective offerors list, or to receive a copy of any solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Note: In order to be eligible for award of a Government contract, vendors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), have no active exclusions, and complete the FAR and DFARS representations and certifications.
