R -- FSA has a need for technical support to complete CLU certification in remaining counties and perform related GIS duties for crop compliance, CRP signup, and other programs.

Provide user support to FSA county service center staff for performing CLU farm field boundary and attribute maintenance. FSA has developed a CLU maintenance extension for performing all CLU editing and attributing. User support is required to correctly and efficiently use these tools to complete CLU editing tasks. Support tasks will also include extension loading, file management, and project set-up. Assist county staff with GIS file management following geodata standards. ( See http://www.gis.sc.egov.usda.gov/geodata-mgmt/index.html ) for further information. Perform CLU maintenance work such as boundary and attribute editing and mapping. Time not spent on other GIS technical support tasks is expected to be used for helping complete field CLU work. User support will also be required for yearly crop compliance, CRP signup, and other FSA programs. FSA has developed GIS tools and training material for performing these program activities. Support will include extension loading, GIS file management, project set-up, and general tool support. Work with the GIS coordinator to plan and provide ArcGIS training for CLU maintenance and other GIS programs. This includes the development of basic training materials for CLU maintenance to supplement national User’s Guides. 5)Provide field support for implementation of GPS activities and integration of GPS data with CLU data. In-person user support is required for an average of 50% of total staff time. In-office support will be focused on the following counties that have not completed CLU certification: Lafayette, Iowa, Juneau, Green, Richland, Grant, Crawford, Sauk, Columbia, Dodge, Washington-Ozaukee, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Marquette-Adams, Waushara, Portage, Waupaca, Wood, Clark, Taylor-Price, Lincoln-Langlade, Oneida, and Ashland. Telephone support is required for all 56 Wisconsin FSA offices.
