C -- Off-site Engineering Support Services for the Office of Bridge Technology

This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for a full and open competition requirement. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement to provide off-site engineering support services for the Office of Bridge Technology to support programs covering the 7 technical areas of bridge engineering (structural, tunnel, geotechnical, hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, and ventilation) on an as-needed basis. FHWA is seeking a firm with multidisciplinary capacities in bridge engineering that has expertise in the 7 technical areas of bridge engineering mentioned above and will be able to provide services on a short notice. This solicitation will only be released and available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Accordingly, NO written, telephone, facsimile or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. However, interested parties can register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements/notifications of postings by e-mail. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it will be the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the www.fedbizopps.gov website for any solicitation amendments.
