J -- Sustaining Support for Foreign Military Sales Programs for the E-2C Aircraft

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to place an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-04-G-0003 to acquire sustaining engineering support in the form of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and contractor engineering technical services support for the E-2C Foreign Military Sales customers in calendar year (CY) 2005. The delivery order will be placed for the support of the procurement of spares and repair parts, support equipment, training, non-recurring engineering, field support services, contractor engineering technical services, logistics support representatives, and technical data/publications. NAVAIR intends to negotiate this order on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Corporation – Integrated Systems (NGC-IS), South Oyster Bay Road, Bethpage, New York 11714. NGC-IS is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer and systems integrator of the E-2C aircraft and weapon system and, as such, is the only firm with knowledge, experience, and technical data necessary to provide the required supplies and services in a timely manner for the purposes of meeting the FMS customer operational needs.
