39 -- Lease/Rental of Forklifts

This announcement serves as the pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR 5.203(a)(i). On or about 06 July 2004, the 49th Contracting Squadron will issue a request for quotation to procure the lease/rental of forklifts. NAICS: 532490 Size Standard: $6,000,000. This acquisition has been set aside for a small business concern. This acquisition will be to procure the following: lease/rental of a 6K Forklift for one year and the lease/rental of a 10K Forklift for one year. Pursuant to FAR 52.211-6, offerors may propose an (or equal) product. Offerors proposing an (or equal) product are advised to follow the instructions in the clause. The solicitation will be posted and must be downloaded from www.eps.gov. Paper solicitations will not be issued, however a copy will be available for public viewing at the 49th Contracting Squadron, 1210 Forty Niner Ave, Holloman AFB NM 88330. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration in order to be eligible for award.
