Group Health Care for Returning Peace Corps Volunteers-Sole Source Announcement

This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 5.207 for the proposed negotiation of a sole source contract with Clements International, One Thomas Circle, NW 8th FL, Washington, DC. 20005. This non-competitive determination is under the authority of the test program for commercial items (section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996), FAR 13.501(a).This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Peace Corps. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The purpose of this requirement is to provide group health care insurance for returning Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCV) for a 6-month period of performance.
