Pre-solicitation notice for health insurance services for Locally-Engaged Staff (LE Staff) of the United States Mission in Pakistan

The requirement is for customized group health insurance coverage for Locally Engaged Staff at the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan and U.S. Consulates in Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar, and employees at Quetta, Pakistan. Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Pakistan will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website when it is available. The anticipated performance period is for a base year with four one-year periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest-priced technically-acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price type contract. No electronic offers or proposals will be accepted
