The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to enter into a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition for services to support the Veterans Affairs Innovation Initiative (VAi2). The TAC intends to award a sole source firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract via modification to The District Communications Group (DC Group), 1391 Pennsylvania Avenue SE, Unit 469, Washington, DC 20003, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) pursuant to authority 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), Veterans First Contracting Program and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5, "Authorized or required by statute." The services consist of the creation of five video case studies for the VAi2 Annual Report that will highlight VAi2's various projects to include, but not limited to, the Veterans Business Administration (VBA) Employee Innovative Competition, Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Employee Innovative Competition, Industry Innovative Competition, and special projects. VAi2 seeks to inform VA leadership, Congress, and the general public about VAi2's work and the status of funded projects.
