The 21st Space Wing intends to solicit competitive proposals to provide non-personal services for the Management and Operation of the Base Civil Engineer Logistics and Material Acquisition System at Peterson AFB, Colorado. The material acquisition and support services include the following: Maintain and replenish stock and supplies, track and manage supply/Civil Engineer (CE) property, ordering, and inventory control, manage and track all hazardous materials, provide guidance and coordination for Civil Engineer logistics functions, operate and maintain databases for Government-furnished systems to include: Civil Engineer Material Acquisition System (CEMAS), Environmental Management and Information System (EMIS), Enterprise Env. Safety and Occupational Health-Mgt Information System (EESOH-MIS), Enterprise Solution/Supply System (ESS), Hazardous Materials Tracking System, Maintain Item Unique Identification System (IUID) data. Firm Bill of Materials and prioritize materials purchases, maintain accurate stock levels, maintain the Self-Help Store, manage and operate the CE Hazmart. A firm-fixed price contract with Cost Reimbursement Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) is contemplated. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 493110 and $21.5M, respectively. A single award is anticipated. Planned contract performance is 1 Oct 2008 through 30 Sep 2018 with 9 12-month option periods, and a two-week phase-in period, from 15 Sep 2008 through 1 Oct 2008. Release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is anticipated within the next 30 days, with proposals due 30 days after release.
