M -- Material Distribution Services for Defense Distribution Center Hill, Utah (DDHU)

The Defense Distribution Center Hill, Utah (DDHU) provides material distribution services including the receipt, storage and issuance of material. The contractor shall provide material distribution services performed at DDHU. Material distribution services include all management, personnel, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and any other items not government furnished. The Defense Distribution Center (DDC) is seeking offerors to perform the above functions which will be evaluated by utilizing a Best Value / Trade Off analysis. The solicitation will be unrestricted, full and open competition. A DRAFT solicitation is expected to be released on or about 01 February 2007. DDC anticipates the final solicitation to be released on or about 15 February 2007. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be awarded on an all or none basis as a Fixed Price Incentive Firm Target (FPIF) contract, with Award Fee, and some cost and time-and-material line items. It is further anticipated that the contract period of performance will be a one-year base period and four one-year options. A site visit and pre-proposal conference is expected to be conducted at DDHU 23-25 February 2007, as follows; 23 February: Site Visit, 24 February: Pre-proposal conference and 25 February: Review of Government Furnished Equipment.
