Protective Security Service Freight Transportation, Defense Distribution Depot Warner Robins GA (DDWG)

Amendment to pre-solicitation notice SP3300-09-R-0053. This acquisition is for the performance of transportation needs of the DOD including the movement of DOD freight traffic, U.S. Government cargo shipments of secret and confidential material which may include hazardous materials (HAZMAT) shipments within the Contiguous United States (CONUS). Due to the nature of this procurement, the solicitation will not be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website. Only Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) Protective Security Service (PSS) approved freight carriers are eligible to receive this solicitation. Vendors must meet the requirements to transport secret and confidential material and are expected to have the ability to transport hazardous materials. It is expected that the solicitation will be available on or around the week of January 11, 2010.
