V--GREENLAND CARGO FLIGHT

Ames intends to issue a sole source, commercial items purchase order (under FAR Part 13) to Air Greenland of Denmark. An award will be issued for Dash-8 aircraft configured for a combination of cargo-personnel as requested by the OIB team one week prior to the requested date(s). The nominal transport date is September 30th, 2015 but it could change based on the needs of the mission, weather, or other events. The period extends from September 30th to October 10th, 2015 The aircraft, based in Nuuk or Illulisat, will arrive to Thule Air Base (at a specific time to be determined 24-48 hours in advance of the transport date) and provide transportation for OIB cargo, equipment, and personnel to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. Nominally, the chartered services will be needed only once. However, should the mission require it, a second chartered flight could be requested.
