Furnish all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to provide complete collection, propagation and storage (before delivery to the proje ct site) of plant material, according to this Scope of Work and as directed by the Contracting Officer. The Contractor shall be a native plant nursery with 5 years, minimum, experience in and have the facilities to perform the collection, propagation and storage of plant material. The Contractor shall possess a current California State Nursery License. Plants shall be nursery grown of healthy, vigorous stock free of insects and disease. All plant material shall be propagated to be installed as container stock. Plants shall be delivered in the containers in which they are grown and shall be grown to the container size indicated. All plants shall be grown in containers made of durable plastic construction and designed to create a deep root system, except for the pulp containers for plugs. Containers shall have interior vertical ribs which train roots do wnward and guard against swirling. The bottom of the containers shall have drainage holes for air-pruning. Plants shall be delivered in containers which they are grown as specified herein. Plant material shall be grown in acceptable native nursery indust ry containers. (NOTE: Need to include option year information in your synopsis, i.e.: The services to be performed will be for a Base Year Period and Four Option Year Periods.)
