14 -- Modification of BQM-74E Low Radar Cross Section for AN/DSQ-50A Conformal Antenna

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a firm fixed price contract modification under contract N00019-05-C-0040 to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, San Diego, CA for modification of thirty-eight (38) BQM-74E Aerial Target Low Radar Cross Section Nose Cones to incorporate a conformal antenna for the AN/DSQ-50A Scoring Kit. Northrop Grumman is the designer, developer and sole producer of the BQM-74E Aerial Target. Northrop Grumman is the only known source with access to the proprietary technical data and software and the experienced personnel to perform the work in the time frame required. This is not a request for proposal.
