Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System II (APKWS) Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) for Low-Cost Wing Slot Seals

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration, Nashua, NH, to procure low cost Wing Slot Seals to support APKWS II program. NAVAIR intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-11-G-0015. This contract action will be issued on a sole-source basis to BAE Systems, the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the APKWS II. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. Request for same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. BAE Systems is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of APKWS, and as such, is the only known source available with the requisite technical knowledge, experience, and tooling to produce the requirements described herein to satisfy the Government's requirement.
