The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source modification to Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, AZ for Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW) Foreign Military Sale (FMS) containers for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). It is anticipated that the resultant modification shall be Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) for one eighteen (18) month base period. This requirement consists of the procurement of three hundred and fifty-five (355) JSOW containers used for the build, delivery, and storage of all-up-rounds (AURs) or other such quantities as may be required by the Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) with KSA. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis per KSA LOA directed sourcing to Raytheon Company. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. GENERAL INFORMATION: The JSOW weapon incorporates unique hardware and software design elements that cannot be satisfied by commercial off-the-shelf components. Raytheon Company has the knowledge, experience, and access to the technical data necessary to fulfill the Government's need and meet its scheduled requirements of these weapons systems since the early 1990s.
