Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)

REASON FOR MOD: CHANGE THE TITLE The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) order with Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensors, Owego, New York. The anticipated order will be to provide Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) efforts required to address Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and/or Obsolescence in current Lockheed Martin MH-60R/S Helicopter Production Systems. The effort will also include NRE for integration of solutions for identified End-of-Life (EOL) Obsolescence Parts Replacements in MH-60R and MH-60S Aircraft. LM MS2 is the only contractor with the necessary data and capability to perform this effort for the MH-60 aircraft.
