The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Heritage Environmental Services for emergency hazardous waste response. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13 “Simplified Acquisition Procedures.” The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 562211. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government’s requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The Government anticipates the award of firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.305(a) the justification will be made publicly available within 14 days after award has been made. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available.
