84--USMC Fielded MK26 Mod1 Ordnance Locators

The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed-price contract with Foerster Instruments, Inc. of Pittsburgh, PA. This proposed contract action is for USMC fielded MK26 Mod 1 Commercial Off the Shelf (COTs) Ordnance Locator or magnetic field detector that works on the basis of gradiometer principle which detects geomagnetic field interference. The proposed action encompasses the award of a 5-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to Foerster Instruments Inc. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only Foerster Instruments Inc. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334519. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available.
