58 -- 58 - TACLANE Encryptor System

The Naval Research Laboratory intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competitive basis with General Dynamics C4 Systems for a TACLANE type-1 approved Encryptor system that can operate inline, and provide 10/100 Mbit and ATM data network encryption. This company has the TACLANE KG –175 Encryptor approved by the National Security Agency (NSA). Responses to this notice of intent to negotiate with General Dynamics C4 Systems should be submitted no later than 45 days from date of synopsis. See Note 22.
