Global Project on Measurement, Awareness-Raising, and Policy Engagement to Address Child Labor, Forced Labor, and Human Trafficking

NOTE: This is a Notice of Intent. There is not an announcement related to this notice. We are not accepting applications. Subject to the availability of funds, USDOL’s Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) intends to provide funding for a cooperative agreement without full and open competition to the International Labor Organization (ILO) for a global project to support efforts to combat child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking by increasing the knowledge base, raising awareness, and conducting policy engagement. The project has four main objectives: (1) to improve the evidence base on child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking through the development of new survey methodologies and research, including data collection and analysis; (2) to raise awareness of child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking by using data-driven techniques; (3) to implement policy engagement strategies to combat child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking through national, regional and global initiatives; and (4) to develop concerted global action, in collaboration with other United Nations organizations, to accelerate progress towards target 8.7 of the Sustainable Development Goals (http://www.ilo.org/wcmsp5/groups/public/---dgreports/---dcomm/documents/genericdocument/wcms_421047.pdf).
