F/A-18 Horizontal Stabilator Freeplay Inspection Set

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a competitive basis for a Small Business Set Aside (SBSA) for the procurement of Horizontal Stabilator Freeplay Inspection Sets (P/N 3867AS1650-1). The Government owns the Build-to-Print Technical Data Package and the offeror is required to manufacture and deliver the Horizontal Stabilator Freeplay Inspection Set (P/N 3867AS1650-1) in accordance with Naval Air Systems Command Drawing 3867AS1650 (most recent revision). The drawings are export controlled. To request the drawings, please email Kelli Ryan at [email protected]. A DD2345 Form (approval to handle export controlled information) is required. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at https://sam.gov. Interested vendors should submit their capability statements and any other pertintent information to [email protected] by the close date of this pre-solicitation notice, 10 November 2021, for review. Content should be limited to ten (10) pages. The intention is to competitively award this requirement via SBSA, resulting in a Firm Fixed Price award. The Government will release the solicitation, including any subsequent amendments, on the SAM.gov website. No telephone or written requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Amendments to the solicitation, if issued, will be posted to the same website. After solicitation release, vendors should regularly access the website to ensure they have all the amendments.
