20--Low Load Installation and Spare Parts Kits for Ship's Service Diesel Generators on LSD 41/49 Class Ships

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia (NSWCCD), intends to award a firm fixed price indefinite-delivery-indefinite quantity contract to Fairbanks Morse Engine (FME), 701 White Avenue, Beloit, WI 53511 for the procurement of Low Load Installation and Spare Parts Kits (FME Part Numbers 16-612-261, 16-612-307, 16-612-262, 16-612-308, 16-612-259, 16-612-309) and associated technical data and logistics support documentation in support of Ship Change Documents 3990, 5019 and 5023 for Ship's Diesel Generators aboard LSD 41 and 49 Class Ships. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Numbered note 22 applies.
