Synopsis of a proposed contracting action; this announcement is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation for this action will be posted through www.jccs.gov. The proposed action is to procure two Turkish made water well drilling rigs capable of drilling at 1500ft, additional parts and support equipment, up to 24 months of maintenance services for the required equipment, and 6-12 months of training. The training will also include the rental of a well drilling rig capable of drilling wells at 1500ft and other support equipment. The delivery location and place of performance will be located in Afghanistan. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements.
