Description
This purchase description covers the requirements for the C-130 Isochronal (ISO) Maintenance Dock. The C-130 ISO Dock allows maintenance personnel full access to the wings, fuselage, empennage, nose and engines of the C-130 aircraft during ISO maintenance. The C-130 ISO Dock is a massive, interconnecting multi-stand structure consisting of wing, nose, empennage (horizontal and vertical stabilizers) and fuselage modules (or stands) encircling the entire aircraft (nose to tail), and includes top-of-wing access. Each stand within this multi-stand set shall integrate with one another as well as accommodate the T56-7, T56-15, and AE2100 (C-130J model) engine configurations. All design, fabrication and erection of the C-130 ISO Dock shall be accomplished in accordance with the standards of the American Institute of Steel Construction or equivalent standard.
