NON-HEAT TREATED ALUMINUM SHEET & PLATE

This is a pre-solicitation notice for a long-term Indefinite Quantity Contract to provide and deliver a broad range of bulk-metal products within the 9535 Federal Stock Class. The IQC will have a two-year base with three (3) one-year options. The contract will be firm-fixed price with an economic price adjustment (EPA). Material required is non-heat treated aluminum sheet & plate. The items have been grouped into one (1) lot. Award will be by lot. Contractors are required to bid on the entire lot. The contractor will stock the materials and fill DSCP customer requisitions in an off-the-shelf, direct-vendor-delivery basis within the required delivery timeframe. Delivery will be within the continental United States. Only contractors who are on the Bulk Metals QSLD will be eligible for award. Vendors must have EDI capability for the life of the award, as orders will be issued via Paperless Ordering Placement System (POPS). Solicitation will be released in the future. Copies will not become available until issue date. The solicitation, once issued, will be posted on the DIBBS, https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. All responsible sources will then be able to submit a proposal which shall be considered by DSCP. This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote or Invitation for Bid. The Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this notice. THIS NOTICE AND ANY RFP IN NO WAY COMMITS THE GOVERNMENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT.
