99--Bottled Water Delivery

The Contractor shall provide fresh, potable water to Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California and the Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD), San Diego, CA on an “as required basisâ€�. The cost shall include all labor, materials, facilities and equipment necessary for the delivery of potable water to designated locations as required by Delivery Orders placed against the contract. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 312112. Small Business Size Standard is: 500. This requirement will be set aside for small business. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. Award of one Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements contracts will be made to one eligible small business concerns. Services shall be procured pursuant to the regulatory direction of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The expected award will consist of one base period of performance with four (4) one-year options. The anticipated performance start date is 1 October 2011. There is no guarantee that any option period of performance will be exercised. The entire solicitation package will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/, and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. Requests for copies of the solicitation package by any other means will not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring FedBizOpps and NECO websites for the release of the solicitation package or subsequent solicitation amendments. The RFP will be issued on or about August 16, 2012. The closing date for submission of offers will be on or about September 14, 2012, 4:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. Pursuant to FAR 4.1102 (a), prospective contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of contract.
