BLM-UT, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument Scientific Study to Employ GPS Technology to Understand Livestock Distribution, Grazing Practices, and Statistical Analysis of Rangeland Data

The GSENM managed by BLM is looking to enter into a multi-year agreement with a partner to investigate cattle grazing distribution using GPS technology, across a gradient of slope and vegetation types. To better understand how vegetation restoration treatments are influencing forage availability and how efficiently cattle utilize the available forage.
