Purchase Announcement Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service DATE: September 23, 2013 USDA ANNOUNCES PURCHASE PROGRAM FOR CANNED SALMON: The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) today announced plans to purchase up to 40,000 cases of canned salmon for Federal food nutrition assistance programs for Fiscal Year 2014. Offers will be invited pursuant to the AMS Master Solicitation for Commodity Procurements dated April 2013 for canned salmon. Please review Supplement 507 to the Master Solicitation, dated July 2011, Errata Page dated September 2011, and Amendment 1 dated March 2012 for further description, for the following item: Material # Material Description 100198 SALMON PINK CAN - 24/14.75 OZ Solicitations will be issued for deliveries between January 1, 2014 and June 30, 2014. Offers to sell this product must be received no later than the date specified on the Solicitations. All offers must be submitted through the Web-Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) website at http://www.usda.gov/wps/portal/usda/usdahome?navid=WBSCM. Offers submitted by any means other than WBSCM will be considered nonresponsive.
