PURCHASE ANNOUNCEMENT United States Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service DATE: April 30, 2013 USDA POULTRY PRODUCTS PURCHASE PROGRAMS ANNOUNCED: The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) today announced plans to purchase poultry products for domestic food nutrition assistance programs. Offers will be invited pursuant to the AMS Master Solicitation for Commodity Procurements dated April 2013, for the following items: MATERIAL # MATERIAL DESCRIPTION 100044 All Purpose Egg Mix 100936 Shell Eggs 100047 Bulk Liquid Whole Eggs 100046 Whole Eggs, 6/5 Lb. cartons 100880 Frozen Consumer Pack Chicken All offers must be submitted electronically through the Web-Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) website at http://www.usda.gov/wps/portal/usda/usdahome?navid=WBSCM. Offers submitted by any means other than WBSCM will be considered nonresponsive. A Solicitation will be issued in the near future for deliveries July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2014. Offers to sell these products must be received not later than the date specified on the Solicitation. Subsequent Solicitations will be issued as necessary. Offerors are urged to carefully read all applicable terms and conditions of the AMS Master Solicitation for Commodity Procurements dated April 2013; the Vendor Qualification Requirements for Prospective Contractors Selling Commodities to USDA dated September 2012; and Commodity Specifications as indicated on the Solicitations.
