Z -- 8(a) Multiple Award Construction Contract

The 28th Contracting Squadron is soliciting an 8(a) set-aside design-build Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC). Projects under this design-build IDIQ contract will consist of construction work based on a general statement of work further defined within each individual task order. Work to be performed under the MACC will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes, Sector 23 Construction, Subsector 236 Construction of Buildings, Size Standard $31M; Subsector 237 Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, Size Standard $31M (except Land Subdivision, $6.5M and Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities, $18.5M); and Subsector 238 Specialty Trade Contractors, Size Standard $13M for work on Ellsworth AFB as well as in base housing and Dakota Ridge housing located approximately 12 miles southwest of Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City. The performance period for this 8(a) set-aside contract will be one basic year with four one year option years. The intent is to award three contracts as a result of this solicitation. MACC task orders may range from $2,000.00 to $5,000,000.00, accommodate pre-design or design-build efforts, and shall be completed among selected 8(a) contractors. Contract award minimum guarantee will be specified in the solicitation and shall be over the life of each contract. The aggregate not-to-exceed amount for this design-build IDIQ contract is estimated at $15 million. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 18 Apr 07.
