Electrical and Data Wiring on the 2nd and 3rd Floors of tha SSA Facility in Queens, NY

The Social Security Administration (SSA), Region II, intends to negotiate with Synthesis, Inc., 318 72 Street, Brooklyn, NY, a small SBA Certified Hub Zone Firm, on a sole-source basis for installation of electrical and data wiring, panels, receptacles, and related items and services on the 2nd and 3rd Floors at the Joseph P. Addabbo Federal Building in Jamaica, New York, pursuant to FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1). Work under the resulting purchase order must commence on or about May 23, 2009. The contractor has extensive experience with the electrical and data systems at the SSA facility and SSA’s IWS/LAN installation requirements and has the ability to mobilize with cleared personnel within the required time. The Government will consider all information from responsible sources that is submitted to the point of contact by close of business on May 20, 2009, but a determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely at the discretion of the Government.
