The Department of Veterans Affairs, Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center (LLAC) has a requirement to Install Data Drops . The intent of the procurement is to award a firm-fixed price construction contract. The Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required for the completion of work at the Los Angeles VA. The Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center (LLAC) Facilities Management Service Department requires a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, qualified supervision, engineering, and services to install approximately 131 new data drops to include but not limited to the following: CAT 5 cables, Panduit faceplates, Panduit communication jacks, labeling, ties, hangers and mounts. All terminations are to be landed in accordance with provided drawings referenced in this documents. These drops will be installed in accordance with industry standards as they will each provide direct support to the ScriptPro dispensary machines and equipment, currently in use throughout the VA-LACC. Work will be performed at the following VA facility: LOS ANGELES AMBULATORY CARE CENTER (LACC) 351 East Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 The applicable NAICS code is 238210 Electrical Work Small Business manufacturers for this NAICS code have a size standard of $15M. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed construction contract. The term of the contract is intended to be 90 calendar days after Notice to Proceed, with no options included. The anticipated Range of Magnitude for this project, in accordance with VAAR 836.204 is projected to be: Between $25,000 and $100,000. It is anticipated that a Request for Proposals will be issued in February, 2018. Award of a firm fixed price contract is contemplated in March, 2018. This notice is published to conduct market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), or Small Businesses (SB) capable of performing the requirements to warrant a socio-economic set-aside or full & open competition. It is strongly recommended that interested parties register in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database and the Small Business Administration (SBA) database.
