Fire Alarm Upgrade, Phoenix Rearing Facility

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, intends to issue an RFP to furnish and install a new, fully addressable fire alarm system at the Phoenix Rearing Facility (PRF), Phoenix, AZ. PRF is a single-story facility of approximately 68,000 sf. The existing Edwards addressable fire alarm system is backed up by a Cummins/Onan 400KW diesel generator. The system is connected to ASSI Security Company. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a small business size standard is $16.5 million.
