THE SOLICITATION AND IT'S RESULTANT CONTRACT WILL BE SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. This pre-solicitation notice is for the procurement to perform Design and Replacement of the Roof at the Turner Port of Entry, Highway 241 @ Canadian Border, Turner, Montana. The scope of work involves two phases: 1) Design; and 2) Construction - Roof Replacement. Work shall include, but not limited to provide all labor, equipment, supplies, materials and supervision to accomplish work. NAICS - 238160 with a size standard of $14.0 million. The estimated range for the total contract value is between $25,000 and $100,000. Contract completion shall be NLT October 31, 2013. The solicitation will be issued on or about July 22, 2013, with proposals due not later than COB August 22, 2013. Award will be a firm fixed price contract, and the procurement method shall be a competitive negotiated Request for Proposals. The following evaluation factors shall be used in determining the contractor offering the best value to the Government: (1) Past performance on similar projects, (2) Schedule, and (3) Price. The subject solicitation includes Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) information.
