THE SOLICITATION AND IT'S RESULTANT CONTRACT WILL BE SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS, WITH THEIR PRIMARY OFFICE LOCATED WITHIN THE STATE OF MONTANA. This pre-solicitation notice is for the procurement to Repair Exterior Steps on the Southeast Side at the Missoula Federal Building/US Post Office, 200 East Broadway, Missoula, Montana. The scope of work involves the Repair of Granite Steps Southeast Entrance at the Missoula Federal Building/US Post Office, Missoula, MT. Provide all materials, labor, equipment, supplies and supervision, including permits, to remove existing steps and pour new stringers and reset removed steps. This includes replacement of the hand rails. NAICS - 238120 with a size standard of $14.0 million. The estimated range for the total contract value is between $25,000 and $100,000. Contract completion shall be September 30, 2013. The solicitation will be issued on or about July 12, 2013, with proposals due not later than COB August 12, 2013. Award will be a firm fixed price contract, and the procurement method shall be a competitive negotiated Request for Proposals. The following evaluation factors shall be used in determining the contractor offering the best value to the Government: (1) Past performance on similar projects, (2) Schedule, and (3) Price. The subject solicitation includes Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) information.
