PRE-SOLICTATION NOTICE FOR DESIGN-BUILD / CEMETERY IMPROVEMENT, LOCATED AT FORT SMITH NATIONAL CEMETERY, FORT SMITH, AR (PROJECT NO - 8847CM3016B) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, intends to solicit bids for Design-Build / Cemetery Improvement under Information for Bid Number VA-786A-15-B-0027 for the following: PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall completely prepare site for construction operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the Gravesite Expansion Project at the Fort Smith National Cemetery as required by the Drawings and Specifications. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. CONTRACT DURATION: Performance period for this requirement is approximately 365 Calendar Days from date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). NAICS CODE: 237990 "Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction" SIZE STANDARD: $36.5 Million METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-RICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT UNDER 100% COMPETITVE SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB). Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) PART 14 to the responsive and responsible lowest SDVOSB business responding to this solicitation.
