SYNOPSIS --- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, plans to issue IFB #ERE-4058 for the construction of a 250,000 gallon elevated water storage tank, a 1,000,000 gallon ground storage tank, associated pumps, piping, new distribution piping and demolition of the existing tanks located at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) El Reno in El Reno, Oklahoma. The FCI is a medium security facility housing male offenders located in central Oklahoma - 30 miles west of Oklahoma City. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials and tools to perform the work. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation will be available on or about August 9, 2005, with an anticipated bid opening date of September 9, 2005. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
