Y--Renovate Floor 12A and 12B for Executive Offices and relocation from 2nd Floor VA Project, 546-11-113 (100% set-aside for Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Bus)

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Bruce W. Carter Miami VA Healthcare System Medical Center, 1201 NW 16th Street, Miami, Florida 33125, will be soliciting proposals to provide design, all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision for Project 546-11-113, Renovate Floor 12A and 12 B for Executive Offices and relocation from 2nd Floor for the renovation and relocation of the 12th Floor wing A and the 12th Floor wing B of the Main Hospital building from an existing patient wards to new executive offices. The proposal will include all facets of the renovation and relocation of the executive offices on the 2nd floor of the Ambulatory Care Building 1A. Request for proposal VA-248-11-RP-0709 will be issued as a two-phase Design-Build solicitation on or about July 15, 2011. The Government will use best value source selection in accordance with FAR 15.101 and intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. A pre-proposal site visit will be scheduled and noted on the solicitation. No hard copies of the solicitation will be provided. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. The Magnitude of this project is more than $1,000,000. NAICS Code 236220 described as Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and size standard $33.5 million applies. This is a 100% set-aside for Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
