CLASSIFICATION CODE: F - NATURAL RESOURCES & CONSERVATION SERVICES The contractor shall provide all qualified personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform contracted services, unless specified as provided by the Government. Contractor tasks include: Provide wildlife control services to maintain safe operating environment for airfield/aerodome operations at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in a secure and timely manner. This service will include but not limited to falconry, harrassment, trapping and relocation, depredation, egg treatment, airfield/aerodome patrolling and perimeter fence monitoring services. This is a commercial acquisition. This solicitation is a request for proposal and is issued as 100% Small Business competitive under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 0971, NAICS code is 114210 and the related Small Business Size Standard is $4 million. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-35. The proposed performance period is a Base Period from 1 October 2009- 30 September 2014 with a transition period of 16-30 September 2009 at contractor's expense, and four one year options. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes.
