IFB No. FN3032/FMP - The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is soliciting sealed bids for IFB No. FN3032/FMP Painting of Superstructure Barriers, Bridges, Handrails and Pedestrian Walkway on Various B, C, D, and K Line Bridges located throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area. Work consists of, but is not limited to: cleaning and painting of steel superstructure, barrier walls, aerial superstructure, and pedestrian bridges; removal and proper disposal of lead-based paint; replacement of chain link fencing and bird-netting. Bid opening o/a May 12, 2004. Estimated cost: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Contract duration 365 calendar days. DBE Participation Goal is 21%.
