Z -- Splash Blocks

Scope of work for splashblocks This scope is for the female dorm designated as building (K). The site visit will be on November 2nd 2007 @ 10:30 am. Prevent ponding of the perimeter of the dwelling in inclement weather. I-Repair landscape edging to where it is slightly above ground or flush with no breaks in each edging run II-Elevate the agragate splashblock as needed in order to achieve a pitch needed for water flow III-Add downspout adapters where applicable along with solid non-slotted drainage tubing that can be trenched underground to a common existing storm drain.Existing storm drains are currently on the west and east side of dwelling. In reference to the center core of dwellling where a common storm drain is not excessible,Surface downspout extenders can be used IV-All landscape will be returned to it?s original state and where trenching has been needed,Re-seed the affected area V-Any debris accumulated from the work process will be taken off center VI-Any surface type extender must not impose a trip hazard or any safety Issue VII-If applicable to trench the local utility inquiry(JULIE) must be notified prior to any work performed VIII-All work will be tested to insure proper flow If you have any questions pretaining to the SOW you may contact the Maintenance Supervisor John Ragusa directly at 815 768 8908.
